A 7-year-old girl was sexually assaulted during a remote learning session in Chicago on Thursday — in front of a teacher, a report said.
The girl was seen by a teacher live online performing a sex act on a male offender while dialed into an online learning application for Bronzeville Academy Charter School, WGN reported.
The teacher, who was working at the school at the time, reported the assault to a principal, the outlet said. School administrators told the news station that they don’t believe other students saw the assault.
The school alerted police, who are questioning a male suspect, according to the report.
The city’s Department of Children and Family Services was also investigating, but no charges had been filed.
