It’s not every day you see discounts on Apple devices, but Amazon Prime Day 2020 comes with Apple deals on AirPods, MacBooks, Apple Watches, iPads, and even some accessories. The deals do end today, October 14 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

The first Prime Day deal we saw was on the Apple MacBook Air, and it’s still live. The laptop is $150 off, bringing it down to the lowest price we’ve seen on Amazon so far (though you won’t see the full deal price until checkout). The Apple AirPods Pro is also 10% off, while the iPad Mini is $63 off.

The deals may not be as steep as other products, but for Apple devices, these sale prices are comparatively excellent — especially considering how infrequently Apple’s products are discounted.

If you’re not already an Amazon Prime member yet and you’re interested in checking it out, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial with full benefits before committing. It’s always a good event for tech deals.

Apple’s MacBook Ais is $150 off as a Prime Day deal and it’s the lowest price we’ve seen on Amazon so far for this excellent laptop, which launched in March 2020.

The discount is available on both models, too. Although the entry-level model is highly affordable at $850, we recommend you get the version with the i5 processor for $1,150 to ensure that you have a future-proofed device with a speedy processor. You’ll see the full discount at checkout.

AirPod and Beats headphones Prime Day deals

Last year’s AirPods deals weren’t too great as we only saw $14 off the standard AirPods. But this year, Amazon has some great AirPods deals happening, including discounts on the AirPods Pro.

You can get about 20% off the standard AirPods and the AirPods with wireless charging, which is pretty good. As for the AirPods Pro, we’ve seen slightly better deals going all the way down to around $200 throughout the year, but these discounts are good if you can’t wait. The Beats by Dre Powerbeats Pro are also on sale.

Prime Day last year saw decent deals for the Apple Watch Series 4, and we were seeing deals that took $29 to $75 off certain models. This year, the Series 4 and Series 5 are unavailable because they have been discontinued by Apple.

Apple still sells the Series 3 watches, and they’re on sale again this year. The Series 3 is the lower-cost alternative to the recently announced Series 6 with a wide range of bells and whistles, as well as the Apple Watch SE. The fact that Apple itself is still selling the Series 3 is a testament to its quality and robust set of core features.

There aren’t many iPad deals this year because new models just launched in September. However, the current iPad Mini is currently enjoying a nice deal right now of $50 off.

While there aren’t any iPhone deals yet on Amazon Prime Day, Apple is at least discounting some accessories to go with your current iPhone. Namely, we’ve found a solid deal on Apple’s wired EarPod headphones.

Apple’s iPhones rarely get discounts on Prime Day, and this year, we’re not seeing any good ones yet, either. However, if you are looking for iPhone deals, you may soon be in luck.

The new iPhones were just announced on October 13, and carriers and retailers will likely discount older models to make way for the new ones.

It’s unlikely that the deals will be on Amazon, though, as the online retailer only sells models that are locked to Cricket Wireless.

We recommend checking your carrier’s deals or looking at Best Buy and Apple now that the iPhone 12 lineup has been announced.

The iPhone 12 was also announced, October 13, though that has no bearing on Prime Day.

Prime Day 2020 began on October 13 and runs through October 14. The deals end at 11:59 p.m. PT. Prime Day was delayed by about three months, from July to October.

Instead of an iPhone, Apple announced new iPads and Apple Watches at its September event, and these are the devices most likely to go on sale on Prime Day.
